  A huge thank you to StiboSystems volunteers who have helped in our creation of a very special place at St John's and for generously donating an abundance of new and exciting books for our shelves, as well as your very precious time!

• LENT

  We have entered the season of LENT.

  Lent is the solemn Christian religious observance in the liturgical year commemorating the 40 days Jesus Christ spent fasting in the desert and enduring temptation, according to the Gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke, before beginning his teaching to the people. Lent begins on Ash Wednesday. 

  The liturgical colour we use during this season is purple.

• FIRST CHILD LED CHESS CLUB

  A concert form Rock Steady. 

  The children had a chance to participate and we are proud to say we have very talented children!

  We can't wait for Rock Steady to come back and work with us. 

  

• Today is Pantomime Day ! Oh, Yes It Is!

  We welcomed Stage Ed to school today who enthralled the children with a retelling of Cinderella. There was lots of opportunity for audience participation  which both adults and children embraced! A day to remember ! 

  

• Christmas Fair - Today

  Thank you to everyone who contributed to our Christmas Fair. It was a wonderful event and such a pleasure to see everyone, together. 

  We are delighted that we were able to raise just over £1,400 which will be used to purchase resources for the children.
