  • WEATHER WARNING

    Thu 17 Feb 2022

WEATHER. Following on from the communication sent home earlier today, we have been monitoring the Met Office Amber weather warning for high winds in our area during tonight and tomorrow.

We are currently planning to open and have put mitigation plans in place including children coming straight into school, indoor breaktime, lunchtime and PE lessons.

We are closely monitoring the situation and if we need to alter our plans in any way we will communicate this to you as early as possible using email, text message and our school website. Keep super safe everyone 🙏

Candlemas   Yesterday was the feast of the presentation. Jesus is brought to the temple by his parents where Simeon and Anna recognise him as the Saviour they have been waiting for. The traditional service for this feast includes a procession of candles, so is often known as Candlemas.
